Weiser, Idaho has much to offer visitors to our area.
Undoubtedly the biggest attraction for Weiser is The National Oldtime Fiddlers' Contest. Starting in 1953, it is now always held the third full week of June each year, drawing nationwide media coverage and over 10,000 people to the Weiser area.
While you are in Weiser visit the National Oldtime Fiddlers' Hall of Fame.
Summertime activities take advantage of the moderate temperatures and include golf and softball tourneys, rodeos, and fun runs. Numerous parks are available for your picnicking pleasure. The Weiser City Park, located next to the Washington
County Courthouse, is equipped with a covered gazebo, up to date playground equipment and picnic areas with BBQ pits.
The Weiser Swimming Pool is a favorite summer hang out, and is located in the heart of Weiser's Parks.
 Located at the South entrance to the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area,
Weiser offers travelers a multitude of outdoor recreational opportunities. Water sports in the area include fishing, water skiing, and boating in the Snake and Weiser Rivers and the Mann Creek Reservoir.
Numerous boat docks and campgrounds can be found in the area. The Weiser River Trail, 84 miles of road less canyons and alpine meadows, offers a variety of experiences for hiker, bicyclists, equestrians, cross-country skiers, and other outdoor
enthusiasts.
Weiser offers some of the finest hunting in Idaho. Our agricultural areas, high desert, foothills, forested mountains, streams, rivers, and lakes provide habitat for a diversity of wildlife.
